Comfort

The new Golf surpasses its predecessor in dimensions, being 57 mm longer (4204 mm), 24 mm wider (1759 mm) and 39 mm higher (1495 mm) than Golf IV. Thanks to this, the interior length has increased by 54 mm, legroom for rear passengers by 52 mm and headroom by 24 mm. The driver and front passenger are not forgotten: the ceiling is raised by 8 mm above them. Now behind the wheel of Golf, even a tall driver will feel comfortable.

The innovation offers a number of advantages:
– reduced fuel consumption;
– flattening of gearchanging moments without breaking the tractive force;
– Reduced acceleration time of the car;
– convenience of switching to manual mode (lever “up/down”, as in conventional sequential automatics);
– Improved dynamic performance (associative – sporty style).
