2002 Chrysler Sebring Owner's Manual

The Chrysler Sebring currently comes with one 2.4-liter “World Engine” gasoline engine equipped with variable valve timing (VVT). The engine is used in conjunction with an automatic transmission with “Auto Stick” system, which allows the driver to either use automatic shifting mode or, if desired, shift gears manually. The engine develops power of 125 kW (170 hp) and torque of 220 Nm. Both of these values are higher than those of its predecessor engine with the same displacement. Fuel economy has also been improved: fuel consumption is 8.9 l/100 km in the mixed driving cycle.
