The 2007 model year version of the Super Bee was shown to the public at the 2006 New York International Auto Show. In essence, it is the same SRT-8, but painted a special yellow color “Detonator Yellow” with black stripes along the body. This version was a limited edition of 1000 units.
The Super Bee B5 Blue version was shown at the 2007 North American International Auto Show and was produced during 2008 in a limited run of only 1000 units. Also, there were produced special versions of the Dodge Charger for police and racing NASCAR.
Renewal of the model is expected in the 2010 model year.
