2007 Ford Focus Owner's Manual

The Ford Focus Sedan is a four-door, five-seat sedan with a dynamic, elegant and sophisticated design and new technology. The updated Focus presented in Frankfurt in 2007 is longer and wider than its predecessor.

“Kinetic design” is a bold new direction in Ford’s vehicle development. Following the success of the launch of the new Mondeo and the introduction of S-MAX, Ford’s designers sought to incorporate the Kinetic Design philosophy into the Focus, known for its superior driving dynamics. Every bodywork on the Focus was redesigned, with the exception of the roof. The result of such a major overhaul was a fulfillment of the basic principle of “kinetic design”, which can be summed up as “energy in motion”. The new Focus gained a more dynamic and athletic appearance, successfully emphasizing the swiftness and maneuverability of this car.
