The new VW Passat enters the Ukrainian market with a wide range of engines. The list is opened by the petrol power unit 1.6 liter (75 kW/102 hp). The four-cylinder 2.0 FSI engine with direct injection produces 150 hp, and in the turbocharged version – 200 hp. Two diesels – a 1.9 TDI (77 kW/105 hp) and a 2.0 TDI (103 kW/140 hp) – will be installed under the hood of the VW Passat for the first time. All diesel engines are equipped with diesel particulate filters. The most powerful turbodiesel is equipped with innovative piezo injectors. The FSI petrol engines will be paired with a comfortable six-speed gearbox (including Tiptronic), and the most powerful turbodiesel will also be paired with the innovative DSG transmission.
