2010 Ford Ranger Owner's Manual

The more fundamental changes are in the interior of the Ford Ranger. Designers worked hard to change the architecture of the central panel, which is now visually divided into two parts by a wide “belt” of decorative plastic. For more elegance, the air vents of the climate system are trimmed with chrome inserts. A lot of control buttons of the media system were replaced by a single 8-inch touch screen. Also engineers changed the steering wheel and dashboard, which now presents a central speedometer well and a pair of LCD information displays. Among the pickup’s electronic equipment, you can now see options such as adaptive cruise control, voice control, lane tracking system and more. The Extra Cab modification can accommodate up to four people, including the driver, and there are two folding seats for the rear passengers.
