The GMC Sierra Regular Cab is a rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive pickup truck, co-platformed with the Chevrolet Silverado. The second-generation model had its world premiere in late 2006.

Working on the Sierra Regular Cab, General Motors engineers primarily focused on the capacity and passability of the pickup, so the front suspension is made independent, and the rear is a two-level design with leaf springs. The length of the wheelbase is 3023 mm, and the overall dimensions are 5222/2029/1877 mm (length/width/height).
