2011 Nissan Murano Owner's Manual

Standard equipment includes such systems as climate control, ventilation system, stereo system with a six-disc player, heated seats, power windows, and buttons to control the Bose audio system on the steering wheel. In a word, the manufacturer has made maximum efforts for the driver and passengers to feel the most comfortable. However, if the standard set is not enough for you, you can additionally order leather interior, power sunroof, GPS navigation system and adjustable pedal unit.

Driver and passenger safety is handled by front and side airbags, head curtains, ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels and ABS.

The choice of engines is limited to a single V6 (3.5 liter, 245 hp, 350 Nm), working in tandem with a V-belt variator. The variator is a mechanical continuously variable transmission. It is used to smoothly change the speed of the driven shaft. But the peculiarity of Nissan Murano is that the powerful, 245 hp engine is combined with variator, it’s the first car with such power, which were curbed by variator.
