Technologies of the hatchback Kia Picanto correspond to the level of the car of a higher class. Depending on the configuration, the model will receive LED running lights, an engine start button, seven airbags, automatic air conditioning, power windows, heated exterior mirrors and electric, keyless entry system, fuel-saving technology ISG (Intelligent Stop and Go), heated seats, Bluetooth system with voice recognition and much more.

The KIA Picanto’s engine range includes four fuel-efficient engines. The hatchback has a new 3-cylinder 1.0-liter engine capable of running on various fuels, and a 1.25-liter gasoline unit. Power output of the power units ranges from 69 to 85 hp and torque from 94 to 101 Nm. The standard Kia Picanto will include a five-speed manual transmission; a four-speed automatic transmission is available exclusively in conjunction with the 1.25-liter engine.
