The Lincoln MKS comes in two versions. The first one is equipped with a 3.7-liter 24-valve gasoline V6 of Duratec family. Power of this motor is 274 hp at 6250 rpm. Moreover, in this version the truck can be both mono and all-wheel drive. The second version is allowed only with a 4×4 and a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with twin-turbo and direct fuel injection. Hence the 355 hp at 5,700 rpm. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift capability.

Lincoln MKS is focused exclusively on the North American market. The car has been produced since May 2008 at Ford’s facilities in Chicago (Illinois, USA).
