Under the hood of the Mazda 3 can be installed one of the many engines. The base is the Skyactiv-G petrol unit with a working volume of 1.5 liters, producing 100 hp of power and 150 Nm of torque. Two variants of 2-liter capacity motor with 120 and 165 “horses” (210 Nm regardless of capacity) are located further. And, of course, can not do without the Japanese hatchback diesel, and moreover, the turbocharged – 2.2-liter Skyactiv-D, producing 150 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. All engines are equipped with the i-stop system (analogue of “Start-Stop”). As an option, you can install the braking energy recovery system i-ELOOP. In addition, there is a choice of two transmissions – 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
