2013 Cadillac Ats Owner's Manual

Under the hood of the Cadillac ATS Sedan can be equipped with a four-cylinder turbocharged 2-liter gasoline engine (272 hp and 400 Nm), a 2.5-liter 202-horsepower unit, or a 3.6-liter direct-injected six, 321 hp and 373 Nm of torque. There are two transmissions to choose from – a six-speed manual and an automatic with the same number of gears.
Cadillac ATS Sedan is a luxury D-class sedan, which replaced the BLS model. The world premiere of the car took place in January 2012 at the auto show in Detroit, and its European debut took place two months later in Geneva.
The ATS is based on a rear-wheel-drive platform with McPherson struts in the front suspension and a five-lever design in the rear. However, it can be completed with an electromagnetic clutch in the front axle drive. Basically, the sedan is equipped with passive shock absorbers and simple brakes, but in more expensive versions, buyers can count on a mechatronic chassis Magnetic Ride Control with electronically controlled shock absorbers and Brembo brakes. The steering, meanwhile, on all versions is equipped with variable-ratio electric power steering.
