2013 Kia Optima Hybrid Owner's Manual

The Kia Optima Hybrid is a four-door D-class sedan. The European premiere of the fourth-generation hybrid version of the model took place at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016. The international debut took place at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2017.

The KIA Optima Hybrid received the same body and basic design features as the standard modification, except for some differences emphasizing the car’s environmental friendliness. Mainly it is indicated by blue shades in the front optics and special logos. The radiator grille has also been slightly modified, reducing the drag coefficient to 0.25 compared to 0.27 (on the standard version). The bumper architecture has also been changed to improve aerodynamic properties. For redundancy, the deflector and exhaust pipes of the rear hull were removed, and the horizontal parking lights moved into the vertical cutouts on the edges of the bumper itself. Among other things, attention is drawn to the additional hatch in the front left wing, under which engineers have placed a connector for charging batteries.
