Under the hood of the Kia Optima Sportswagon can be found a 2-liter gasoline engine with 163 hp (196 Nm) or a 1.7 liter diesel engine that produces 141 peak hp (340 Nm). In turn, for the GT version there is a 2.0 liter unit with 245 horsepower and 353 Nm of torque. Depending on the modification, automatic and manual 6-speed gearboxes are available, as well as a seven-speed robot transmission with two clutches.
