2013 Nissan Micra Owner's Manual

All engines of the new Nissan Micra are either newly designed or significantly improved. The car is available with three types of gasoline engines and two types of turbo-diesel (dCi) with direct injection with common rail system. The three gasoline engines belong to the new family of engines of the CR series. These are four-cylinder all-aluminum 16-valve engines with 2 overhead camshafts, equipped with variable valve timing (VTC). They are 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4-liter engines with 48 kW (65 hp), 59 kW (80 hp) and 65 kW (88 hp), respectively. The 1.2 liter gasoline engine is also available with 48 kW (65 hp) for some markets.

“The new Micra is a friendly car,” stresses Christopher Ritz, “there is absolutely no aggression in its style.

The Micra is packed with important innovations for everyday use and practical solutions designed to make the car easier to operate. A unique feature of the Nissan Micra is the electronic chip key, which allows you to open and close the interior and luggage compartment doors, as well as start the car without inserting the key into the lock.
