2013 Volkswagen Golf Owner's Manual

The standard equipment of Volkswagen Golf doesn’t dazzle with a number of the latest technologies, but you can equip it with everything that VW has at its disposal today. The engine range of Volkswagen Golf seventh generation has two petrol engines – 1.2 TSI (105 hp) and 1.4 TSI (140 hp) – and two turbodiesels – 1.6 TDI (90 hp) and 2.0 TDI (150 hp). The most powerful engine equipped with a system of switching off cylinders at partial loads, consumes only 4.8 liters of fuel per 100 km over a mixed cycle. As for the transmission, the engine can be operated with both 6-speed manual transmission and 7-band pre-selective “DSG” robot.
