Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is a cross-country wagon with front- or all-wheel drive transmission. The world premiere of the model took place at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 2011.

It’s easy to guess that the Alltrack version is based on the Passat Variant of the seventh generation, but the difference between them, even externally, is clearly visible. Off-road modification is equipped with protective plastic skirts around the perimeter of the body, roof rails, matte metallized glass and grille. There are other differences. Thus, ground clearance of the Passat Alltrack is 165 mm (+30), and angles of approach and departure increased from 13.5 and 11.9 to 16 and 13.6 degrees, respectively.
