2014 Kia forte Owner's Manual

The KIA Cerato is a front-wheel-drive C-class sedan. The world premiere of the third generation model took place at the auto show in Chengdu (China) in August 2012.
One of the main leitmotifs for the creation of a new generation of Cerato served the need to adapt the appearance of the model to the corporate style of Kia. The design team led by Peter Schreyer redesigned the front of the car (bumper, grille, headlights), redrawn its stern and modified the side panels. As a result, the Kia Cerato began to look more harmonious and modern.
From a technical point of view, the Kia Cerato did not bring any revolution. The sedan is built on an upgraded platform of its predecessor with McPherson struts at the front and a semi-independent beam at the back. However, engineers readjusted the suspension and steering to improve the sedan’s road performance and comfort level. In addition, the car slightly increased in size. Its length is 4560 mm (+30 mm), width is 1780 mm (+5 mm), and only the height became a little less – 1435 against the previous 1460 mm. The length of the wheelbase, on the contrary, increased by 50 mm and now is 2700 mm.
