2015 Kia Optima Owner's Manual
The Kia Optima Sportswagon is a D-class station wagon based on the fourth-generation sedan. The model made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016.
Externally, the station wagon is a “golden mean” between the regular version of the Optima, on which it is based, and the KIA Sportspace concept, presented in 2015 and developed with the participation of Peter Schreyer (KIA’s chief designer) himself. The image of the Optima SW is notable for its streamlined body with a roof sloping down to the rear, parallel to which the “sill” line rises upwards, thanks to which the car acquires a swift and dynamic silhouette. Completes the ensemble perfectly traced optics with diode inserts and clever design of overhangs. The GT modification is available, characterized by larger wheels with an exclusive pattern, even more sporty bodykit with vertical triangular air intakes in the front bumper and rear aerodynamic diffuser, which sides are spaced with large chrome ovals of the exhaust system. Dimensions of the car L / W / H are 4855x1860x1470 mm, and the center distance reaches 2800 mm, which is almost identical to the size of the basic sedan. In this case, the useful volume of the luggage compartment is larger by 43 liters and equal to 553 liters.
