The Kia Soul is a front-wheel drive mini crossover of the “K1” class. The world premiere of the second generation model took place at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013.

When creating the new Soul, KIA designers were clearly inspired by their own concept Track’ster. In any case, some of its elements were taken over by the production car. For example, bumpers, fog lamps, air inlets and many other things. And in general we can say that the car has not lost its individuality and recognizability, but became more attractive.

KIA Soul is constructed on a platform of the second generation of a hatchback cee’d. Stretched, naturally. Wheelbase of the “parket” is 20 millimeters longer than at previous generation, and width of the automobile has increased by 15 millimeters. On the one hand, it is not much, but on the other hand, even it appeared to be enough to make the interior more spacious. And the volume of the trunk increased from 340 to 354 liters.
