Lincoln MKS is based on Ford D3 platform, where McPherson struts are used in the front suspension, and multilever design is installed in the rear. The wheelbase length is 2868 mm, and the overall dimensions are 5184/1928/1565 mm (length/width/height). An interesting feature of the sedan is that its standard equipment includes an adaptive suspension CCD (Continuously Controlled Damping), which with the help of special sensors monitors changes in the road surface with a frequency of 500 times per second, so the suspension settings change almost instantly. Lincoln Drive Control system can be additionally installed on the car and it includes three preset presets – Normal, Comfort and Sport.

Lincoln MKS focuses exclusively on the North American market. The car is produced at Ford’s plant in Chicago (Illinois).
