To the driver and passengers of the MKX was not bored on long trips, the car is equipped with MyLincoln Touch multimedia complex. The peculiarity of this system is that to control DVD-player, audio system, satellite radio and navigation system requires a minimum set of buttons.

Under the hood of Lincoln MKX installed 3.7-liter gasoline unit family Duratec with a V-type arrangement of six cylinders and a mechanism for valve control in the intake and exhaust (Ti-VCT). This motor is able to produce 305 hp and 380 Nm of torque, and works with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Lincoln MKX is designed exclusively for the North American market. The car is produced at the Oakville Assembly plant in Canadian Ontario.
