Mazda CX-5 (Mazda CX-5) is a compact crossover with front or all-wheel drive. The world premiere of the model took place during the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011.

The prototype of the CX-5 has become a concept car Mazda Minagi. The crossover is built on a modular Skyactiv platform designed to reduce weight while improving performance. Thanks to the use of a large number of light-alloy metals, the Japanese managed to get good results. At the same time the car can boast of good aerodynamic performance. Thus, the CX-5’s drag coefficient is 0.33.
