The undercarriage of the Volkswagen Touareg has not changed. The engine range remains the same. The only exception is the diesel V6. It received a new catalytic converter, due to which it now meets Euro-6 environmental standards.

The Volkswagen Touareg (Volkswagen Touareg) is a four-wheel drive five-seat crossover, which became the second car of this class in the history of the brand after the Tour 82 (Kubelwagen). The second generation Touareg was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010.

The design of the Touareg underwent changes, thanks to which German engineers managed to improve the aerodynamic efficiency of the car, and changes in the body structure led to a weight saving of 200 kg without losing torsional rigidity. As a consequence, the fuel consumption has also decreased. The “smallest” engine is the 2-liter diesel V6 with an output of 204 hp. – It consumes 7 liters per 100 kilometers in the mixed cycle.
