In 2003, GMC Savana underwent significant changes, both visually and technically. There was also a new modification “2500”, which had a capacity equal to ¾ ton. By getting the new body panels, the truck was based on a new platform GMT800. In 2004, GMC Savana passenger models began to be equipped with StabiliTrak electronic stability program. In 2007, the Savana was equipped with a 295-horsepower, 5.3-liter V8 engine as standard equipment. The list of engines offered today also includes: A 195-horsepower 4.3-liter V6, a 285-horsepower 4.8-liter V8, a 300-horsepower 6.0-liter V8, and a 250-horsepower 6.6-liter V8 diesel engine.

As for the interior of the Savana, it is very comfortable and luxurious. The leather trimmed interior is made in light colors. The seats are very comfortable and equipped with heating.

GMC Savana model is successfully produced and nowadays, and still is quite popular among American minivans.
