The KIA Sorento is a K2-class SUV. The world premiere of the third generation of the model took place at the Paris Motor Show in October 2014.

Several design studios worked on the appearance of the next generation Sorento. The main part of the work was done by KIA specialists in Hvason, but colleagues from Frankfurt and Irvine helped them as much as possible. As a result, to tell that Sorento has changed is to say nothing. It became absolutely different outside and inside, though it kept some features, by which it is possible to identify the brand easily.

And the design is only a part of innovations. Almost everything has undergone modernization, including dimensions. Sorento became 95 mm longer than its predecessor (4780 mm), 55 mm wider (1890) and 15 mm lower (1685). The wheelbase in this case stretched by 80 mm – up to 2780, that, of course, had a positive effect on the already big space in the cabin. Moreover, do not pay attention to the reduced height of the car. Due to the lower installed seats the space above your head has not decreased.
