The Mini Cooper Paceman is a K1 crossover with front or all-wheel drive. The world premiere of the model took place at the Paris Motor Show in September 2012.

The Paceman is built on the platform of the Countryman crossover and therefore inherited not only the stylistic similarity with it, but also the technical part. The new exterior design can be noted only the original design of the taillights, which received the horizontal position for the first time for the brand. And as for the interior, it undoubtedly became the most qualitative and interesting in the whole model range of Mini. Instead of a back sofa at Paceman there are two separate chairs, that is the car originally four-seater. Moreover, the rear seats are folded down to give an opportunity to increase the volume of the luggage compartment from 330 to 1080 liters. The front seats, in turn, are slightly lifted to improve visibility for the driver and his passenger. Moreover, they are already in the basic equipment sports type, but their leather upholstery can be ordered only at additional cost.
