2016 Volkswagen Jetta Owner's Manual

The Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid is a C-class sedan with a hybrid powertrain. The car, based on the sixth generation of the model, made its debut at the Detroit auto show in January 2012, and the sedan underwent a restyling in 2014.

Since the main attribute of the Jetta Hybrid is its powertrain, this is where you should start getting to know the car. In this case we speak about a sheaf of 1,4-liter 150-powered petrol engine, 27-powered electric motor and the block of lithium-ion storage batteries by capacity 1,1 kw/h located behind a back of a back sofa. The total output of the unit, working with a 7-speed DSG robot, is 170 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. In the combined cycle, the hybrid Jetta consumes 4.1 liters of fuel, and if necessary, can travel about 2 km solely on electric power (at speeds below 70 km/h). The sedan accelerates from a place to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. Its maximum speed is 210 km/h.
