2017 Ford Focus Owner's Manual

Speaking of the power unit. The main novelty of Ford Focus ST became the fact that for the first time the model received not only petrol, but also diesel engine. This is a 2-liter Duratorq TDCi (known from other models, but with an upgraded intake, exhaust and new management program), producing 185 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque in the range from 2000 to 2750 rpm, thanks to which from a place to 100 km / h h hatchback accelerates in 8.1 seconds at a maximum speed of 217 km / h. Average fuel consumption, even with such indicators, the diesel motor is around 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers.
As for the classic gasoline variant, it is a modified 2-liter EcoBoost, producing 250 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque in the European specification. Working with a six-speed manual (same as the diesel), the FocusST accelerates to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds. The top speed is 248 km/h. And, thanks in part to the Start-Stop system fitted as standard, the petrol FocusST needs just 6.8 liters of fuel per 100km over a combined cycle.
