The MINI Hatchback 5D is a front-wheel drive B-class hatchback. The facelifted version debuted in January 2018 at the Detroit auto show.

The planned facelift brought the MINI a slightly updated exterior. The front headlights have become LED matrix type. The taillights are now also LED and in the style of the British Union Jack flag. And the hood and trunk lid are decorated with an updated logo.

The car has a wide range of personalization options. The customer can choose from a variety of painting options for the roof, side mirrors, as well as stripes along the whole vehicle. There are three new colors in the interior: brown (Malt Brown), red (Glowing Red) and gray (Satellite Gray). The center of the torpedo draws attention to the media system, which in the top version will be equipped with an 8.8-inch screen, inscribed in a traditional circle.
