Even in base kitting Toyota GT 86 is pretty well equipped: six airbags, ABS, dynamic stabilization system, air conditioner, MP3 audio system. More expensive versions can be equipped with climate control, navigation system, seats with combined leather and alcantara trimming, keyless access system and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Under the hood of GT 86 is “square” (cylinder diameter and stroke of 86 mm each) 2-liter opposition engine developed by Subaru engineers. Toyota specialists, in turn, equipped it with their system of combined injection D-4S. As a result, the unit capacity with a compression ratio of 12.5:1 is 200 hp at 7,000 rpm, and torque – 205 Nm at 6,600 rpm. It can be paired to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission with the same number of gears.
