Two power-units are offered for the Cross-Up!: a 1.0-liter MPI-motor with 75 hp and 1.0-liter TSI-engine with 90 hp. If for the first pair can be manual 5-speed “mechanics” or ASG-automatic (automatic with the ability to switch gear manually), for the second available only “mechanics” 5-step. Despite a more “formidable” appearance and prefix “cross” in the name, four-wheel drive for the car is not available, although ground clearance is increased by 15 mm compared with up!

VW cross Up! can be equipped with a rearview camera, parktronic, automatic braking system at low speeds (up to 30 km / h), cruise and climate control, rain sensor.
