2018 GMC Terrain Owner's Manual

All versions of the Terrain, including the top version Denali, are produced at the GMC plant in Ontario, Canada. The Denali features a grille, 19-inch wheels, interior upholstery, and a reconfigured suspension.
Curiously, for the first time the name Terrain in the GMC lineup appeared in 2007, when the company began selling in the Middle East a modified version of the OpelAntara/ChevroletCaptiva. However, a few years later in the U.S. debuted the real Terrain, which has almost nothing in common with the above models, except for a platform with McPherson struts in front and “multilever” in back (in the all-wheel drive version the rear axle is connected electromagnetic clutch). However, it was lengthened, as a result of which the wheelbase is stretched to 2857 mm and overall length is 4705 mm. At the same time, the Terrain weighs 1723 kg, which is 82 kg less than the Opel Antara.
