2018 Kia Ceed Owner's Manual
Kia’s designers managed to avoid one of the main mistakes in the creation of the wagon, namely – the external weight of the model compared to the “donor”. “Stern” of the car (or rather in its design are concentrated differences from the hatch, because the front cars are identical) looks organically: almost flat roof line is compensated by a dynamic line of windows, under an acute angle sloping to the rear lights. The latter have a separate design, in addition, the rear bumper is also redrawn: in comparison with the hatchback appeared overlays that imitate air exhaust zone, reversing lights “moved” down.
There are four engines available on the European market for the Cid SW: three petrol and one diesel. The 1.0-liter three-cylinder T-GDi produces 120 hp and comes with a six-speed manual. The 1.4-liter MPi Atmospheric engine has a power of 100 hp and also works with a six-speed gearbox. The most powerful engine 1.4 T-GDi develops 140 hp and is available with “manual” and 7-speed “robot” with two clutches. As for the diesel engine, it is a 1.6-liter CRDi with 115 or 136 hp, with both variants available with “manual” and “robot”.
