Looking at the list of equipment, you would not think that this is not a premium car: keyless entry with push button start, split climate control, 8-inch projection display, smart cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane-keeping, FCA front collision prevention assistant (with pedestrian detection), reverse collision prevention system, adaptive light and a 640-watt Harman/Kardon audio system with 10 speakers.

Under the hood of a third-generation KIA Soul will be three engines: two atmospheric 1.6 MPi (123 hp 151 Nm) and 2.0 MPi (150 hp 192 Nm) complete with a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or variable speed IVT (depending on the market and the engine); and one turbo 1.6 T-GDI (200 hp 265 Nm) with proprietary “robot” 7-DCT. There are no diesels, and the drive is front-wheel drive only, as before.
