The platform and running gear of Venga remained the same (McPherson in front and torsion bar in back). Dimensions are almost unchanged, except for a 7 mm increase in length (up to 4075 mm). Width, height and distance between the axles are 1600, 1765 and 2615 mm, respectively. But even with such modest dimensions the truck has a roomy luggage compartment. In the five-seat version of the saloon its volume is 440 liters, but if the backrest of the second row of seats folded, the space for the luggage will increase to 843 liters.

Depending on the market, KIA Venga can be equipped with different engines. However, the most common are the 1.4-liter gasoline engine, producing 90 horsepower and 137 Nm of torque, and a 1.6-liter (also gasoline) unit, capable of giving 124 “horses” and 156 Nm. The first works together with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the second – with a 4-band “automatic”. As for fuel consumption, on average it is in the range of 6.2-6.5 liters. As an option for greater economy Koreans offer the system “Start-Stop”.
