Along with improvements in the engine and gearbox, the body and chassis have also been finalized. The rigidity of the body was increased by installing a strut in the engine compartment, connecting the shock absorber mounts, as well as reinforcements on the underside of the car. Suspension elements (MacPherson in the front and multilever in the rear) received more rigidity, while reducing the weight.

Standard equipment are four-piston brake calipers with a fixed bracket only in the front axle, and for an additional fee available with a four-piston fixed bracket also behind (in the latter case, the size of the brake discs is 360 and 320 mm, respectively). In addition, you can also get adaptive shock absorbers for a surcharge.

Restyled JCW Countryman version can be distinguished from the previous except for the grille without red edging (now there is only a red line), another block of headlights, taillights, which are now decorated Union Jack, and slightly redesigned rear bumper with a modified diffuser.
