According to Toyota specialists, the updated Land Cruiser feels much better on the road and off-road. Introduction of several new systems has helped to achieve this result. One of them is Crawl Control, united with Multi-Terrain Select. The first one controls and changes the engine and brake settings on the off-road, and the second one is an analogue of the system successfully used in their cars by Land Rover. Multi-Terrain Select has five presets – rocks, mud, sand, snow and bumps, which the driver can use depending on the situation.

In Europe, the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 is offered with a 5.7-liter V-shaped eight-cylinder gasoline engine. Such engine produces 381 hp at 5,600 rpm, but for the CIS and some other markets Japanese have prepared an upgraded version of the 4.6-liter V8, capacity of which increased to 318 hp, and maximum torque to 460 Nm. This engine works in conjunction with a six-speed automatic transmission, consuming 14.2 liters of fuel in the mixed cycle.
