Volkswagen Polo is pleasantly equipped. Firstly, abundance of electronic assistants: it is adaptive cruise control, sensor of blind zones, and parking assistant. It is pleasant that already in “base” the automobile is able to brake automatically at recognition of pedestrians on road. It is possible to order a fully virtual dashboard (and this is an innovation for the car of this class), multimedia system can have a screen size of 6.5 to 8 inches. The car can also be equipped with a panoramic roof, audio system with a 300-watt subwoofer, engine start button, and wireless phone charging.
There are plenty of power units to choose from: a liter three-cylinder engines of MPI system with 65 and 75 hp, another liter, but already turbocharged, TSI with 95 hp and 115 hp. The one and a half liter version – TSI turbo engine – produces 150 hp. As for the heavy fuel engines, the choice is between two versions of 1.6 liter turbodiesel: 80 or 95 hp. The Polo GTI version is equipped with a 2-liter (TSI) engine, producing 200 “horses”. There is a choice of 5- or 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed gearbox of DSG system.
