2019 Ford Ranger Owner's Manual
As before, the Ford Ranger has excellent off-road capability. Suspension in the latest generation of the model has been slightly reconfigured for comfort and drivability. All-wheel drive transmission with a new rear gearbox has an electronically locking rear differential. The outdated hydraulic power steering has been replaced with an electric one. In addition the stabilization system now changes automatically, depending on the load.
The engine range of Ranger consists of three diesel units of Duratorq family. Among them are two units with a working volume of 2.2 liters, producing 130 and 160 horsepower, and 3.2-liter engine, which produces 200 hp. Both automatic and manual 6-speed transmissions are available to work with them. The Start/Stop system helps improve fuel efficiency.
