2019 Ford Transit Owner's Manual

Ford Transit Custom is a front-wheel drive M-class van, which replaced the short-wheelbase version of the sixth generation Transit. The world premiere took place at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, UK in April 2012.
The Transit Custom is built on a global Ford platform with McPherson struts in the front suspension and a leaf spring in the rear, and is offered in two wheelbase configurations – short and long. In the first case, the length of the car is 4.97 meters, and in the second – 5.34 meters. Accordingly, depending on the version, the payload varies – from 600 to 1400 kg.
One of the most important advantages of Tranzit Casual is that its cabin can carry a standard load of 2.44 x 1.22 meters, both horizontally and vertically, three euro pallets and items up to 3 meters in length, which is aided by a hatch in the partition that separates the cabin from the luggage compartment. In addition, the additional luggage rack can be installed on the roof, and if it is not used, its cross beams are folded so that the overall height of the van does not exceed two meters.
