2019 GMC Acadia Owner's Manual

The GMC Acadia is powered by a 3.6-liter gasoline V6 with 288 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque at 3,400 rpm. The engine works with a 6-band automatic transmission, consuming 10.7 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers in the combined cycle. The mono-drive version requires slightly less fuel for the same distance and in the same conditions.
The Rear Seat Reminder system notices on the dashboard and beeps five times, like a clock to make sure the driver remembers to check if he has removed the items from the back seat or locked someone in the car. However, there are no motion or presence sensors in the back of the car. The system only monitors the unlocking or closing of the rear doors. If it occurs within 10 minutes before the engine starts, the action is remembered, and before the car is turned off, the driver is notified audibly and in writing: look in the back seats. GMC believes that this technology, though not perfect, but necessary, will help save many lives.
