2019 Nissan X-Trail Owner's Manual

There are also absolute novelties for Nissan in X-Trail – the systems Active Ride Control and Active Engine Brake. The first controls shock absorber stiffness, and the second – torque and variator, providing the most effective engine braking. The third new system for X-Trail (also installed on Infiniti M) is a system of assistance when cornering Active Trace Control.

At the launch of sales in Europe, the Nissan X-Trail is available only with a 1.6-liter diesel engine, producing 130 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a manual transmission or variator. Depending on the configuration, the engine consumes 4.1-4.3 liters of heavy fuel per 100 km in the mixed cycle.
