It is noteworthy that the Cadillac XT5 was the first model of the brand, built on a platform D2XX, thanks to which the crossover has a small weight – 1814 kg, which is 126 kg less than the weight of the SRX, and, for example, as much as 290 less than the competing Mercedes-Benz GLE. The Americans are especially proud of the last circumstance.

Of course, the creators of the XT5 also worked hard on the interior. In addition to the attractive design, it is notable for the quality finishing materials, a variety of color combinations and, of course, the richness of equipment. For example, there is a rearview mirror with a camera, which registers an image of the space behind the car with a much larger coverage area, transmits information to the processing unit with special software, and it, in turn, “removes” all obstacles and rear seat passengers from the driver’s field of view and displays a “clean” image.
