But even more important changes took place not outside but inside the GMC Sierra. Thus, engineers worked on improvement of sound insulation and quality of finishing materials. Now the interior of the pickup has more soft plastic and leather. And there is more equipment. There is a multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen, a front collision warning system, a lane departure warning system, a rear view camera, and even driver’s fatigue detection system, which uses not sound signal, but vibration of the seat to notify the driver about the need to rest.

The Sierra Crew Cab is built on the same platform as its predecessor, with independent front suspension and asymmetric leaf springs in the rear. At the same time, the engineers paid attention to each individual unit, something upgraded, and something just reconfigured to provide better handling, rideability, comfort and safety.
