2020 Kia Forte Owner's Manual

Interior of the sedan is made with the dominant elements of corporate brand style, which “diluted” with a few more individual touches. Thus, the steering wheel and the “soaring” multimedia display (with a diagonal of 8 inches) with the buttons below ensure brand recognition KIA; side deflectors in aviation style refer us to the “senior” Stinger. But the organization of the dashboard with the design of “half wells”, as well as the design of the climate control system is more original. An armrest and air deflectors are available for rear row passengers. The volume of the trunk is 502 liters (VDA measurements), which is 20 liters more than the previous generation.

For the Kia Cerato available two gasoline MPi-engine and a diesel (however, the latter is not available in all markets). The first are 1.6- and 2.0-liter engines, producing 128 hp and 152 hp, respectively. The second one is 136 hp Smart Stream D engine with output of 136 hp and 320 Nm of torque (the figure is for a car with a robot). The gasoline engine is equipped with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, a diesel engine – mechanical or seven-speed robot with two clutches. For the first time for the model (but also – not in all markets) is also available variator of its own design Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) with a pulling reinforced belt instead of pushing (common in this class).
