2020 Kia Optima Hybrid Owner's Manual
The Kia Optima Plug-in Hybrid is a front-wheel-drive Class D sedan in the plug-in hybrid version. The official debut of the restyled version of the fourth-generation model took place at the Paris Auto Show in the fall of 2018.
Although many automakers are still trying their best to fit their gasoline and diesel engines into stricter environmental standards, the future belongs to “electric cars. However, not all electric cars can boast a decent range, and such cars are much more expensive than their counterparts with internal combustion engines. But between the past and the future there is an intermediate variant – the so-called hybrids. One of such is the KIA Optima sedan, which this year has undergone a small update.
So, due to a different front bumper and slightly modified silhouette of the rear diode optics in combination with the new design of 18-wheel drive, the car looked more sporty and aggressive, although the image of the sedan remained untouched. But then how to distinguish the “green” version from the usual? It’s simple: the hybrid has an additional hatch for charging on the front left wing, a pair of decals with the characteristic inscription Plug-in Hybrid on the sides, modified rear bumper more massive shape with vertically arranged reflectors and lack of tips of the exhaust system (it is displayed down), as well as unique decorative inserts blue.
