The Ram 1500 TRX is a four-wheel-drive K4 pickup truck. It is the most productive version of the fifth generation Ram. The model was officially unveiled on August 17, 2020.
Despite all the formal signs of a pickup truck, the loading characteristics of the Ram 1500 TRX (594 kg payload, 1712 mm length) are secondary. The main thing is engine’s performance and off-road capabilities.
Under the hood of the TRX is a 6.2-liter V8 compressor that produces 712 horsepower and 881 Nm of torque. A ZF eight-speed automatic (8HP95) sends the power to all four wheels. What provides an acceleration of the pickup to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 4.5 seconds, to 100 mph (161 km/h) – in 10.5 seconds. Top speed is almost 190 km/h, and “quater” 1500 TRX passes in 12.9 seconds. To stop from such speeds help the largest in class front disc mechanisms with a diameter of 381 mm.
