The Toyota RAV4 is a K1-class SUV with front or all-wheel drive. The world premiere of the fourth generation model took place at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2012.

The extent to which the RAV4 has changed compared with its predecessor is evident at the first glance at the car. Its appearance has become more aggressive and bright, which immediately divided the fans of the model into those who liked the innovations and those who prefer a more classic design. However, competition in the crossover segment is so high that Toyota had to make bold steps and move with the times.

The base for the Toyota RAV4 is a 2-liter gasoline engine rated at 145 hp, working in tandem with a six-speed manual transmission or variator. The next in the hierarchy is 2,5-liter capacity unit, giving out 180 “horses” (works only with “automatic”), but there is also a diesel – 2,2-liter, and, turbocharged, due to what it gives 150 h.p. of capacity.
