2020 Toyota Tundra Owner's Manual

As for the technical part, the third-generation Tundra received reconfigured suspension and steering. They changed characteristics of shock absorbers and calibrated springs (so even with a full load the body of the pickup preserved an even horizontal position). Then came the aerodynamics. Remodeling of mirrors and taillights bodies allowed to reduce air flow around these elements. And another important improvement is that the noise insulation of the pickup became more effective. From now on, passengers will be much less annoyed by engine and transmission noise, tires and wind blowing.

Toyota Tundra engine range consists of three power units. All of them are petrol. The base is a 4-liter V6, giving out 270 h.p. of capacity. The next one is a 4.6-liter V8 with 310 “horses” and the same configuration, but 5.7-liter, capable to give 381 hp. A 5-speed automatic transmission works with the least powerful engine. The other units are available with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
